Our car history reports are based on data from 900+ international databases belonging to national car registries, insurance companies, law enforcement agencies, official garages, and other institutions. Once we've gathered all the relevant information about your car, we organize it and present it in an easy-to-understand format. These reports are the best way to avoid stolen vehicles, vehicles that have been involved in accidents, or vehicles with false mileage.

Working with a huge amount of auto data has taught us a lot about used cars and best practices when buying them. One of carVertical's main goals is to share this knowledge and empower car buyers not only with history reports but also with our expert research. Their insights have already been used by publications such as Top Gear, Auto Bild, and other auto market leaders.
Changing the way people buy cars
For us, the greenest car is one that never gets manufactured. We want to actively contribute to the sustainability of the automotive industry.
Don’t get us wrong – we love new cars. However, buying a brand-new vehicle increases consumption, regardless of how “green” it is. Therefore, we believe in well-maintained, responsibly-driven, low-emission used vehicles that don’t require another 1.5 tons (!) of steel, plastic, glass, and rubber to build (which is to say nothing of the carbon footprint left behind by production and logistics).
carVertical changes how people buy and sell cars. We’ve proven to be a catalyst for used car transactions and ownership flows. Europe’s used car market has never seen such high levels of transparency, causing tectonic refractions in liquidity and pricing strategies.
Meanwhile, new car buyers don’t mind shifting to used ones as long as they can check a vehicle’s history. And with us, they always can.
As a bonus, we’re witnessing increased efforts to maintain vehicles properly – owners are beginning to realize they can noticeably influence their ability to sell a vehicle simply by taking good care of it. Eventually, this should lead to prolonged product life cycles and thus a more worthwhile market for everyone involved.
